JOB BRIEF:
We are looking for a self-starter Service Manager to deliver the desired customer service experience. The goal is to drive service success that improves customer satisfaction, maximizes customer retention and increases profitability.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide consistent and timely response to our schools, businesses, state and government with service calls, installations, maintenance and repairs.
Provide repairs and maintenance to various machines including (but not limited to): laminators, shredders, punch & bind machines, paper folding machines, paper trimmers.
Assist in installations of new machines, removal of old machines from accounts and delivery of inventory to various accounts.
Keeping of accurate records of all work provided, inventory control of all parts and loaners acquired.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Perform general preventative maintenance on production equipment in shop - quarterly and/or as needed.
Purchase parts from appropriate outside vendors
Perform minor electrical work where licensed trademen is not needed
Available to travel off-island as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
1 year of service technician experience (electrical experience recommended)
1 year of working on business machines or small equipment
Clean abstract to operate an automobile (personal vehicle & company van)
MUST BE COVID-19 VACCINATED
Able to work independently, trustworthy and is success driven
EDUCATION:
High School diploma or equivalent
Trade school, military experience is recommended
OTHER FUNCTIONS:
Performs other duties within a small business as assigned
