When it comes to your biz, the colors you use have a big impact on how people perceive you.
If you’re trying to decide what colors are right for your brand, the answer is … it depends. Your colors should represent your brand personality and convey the right message to your audience.
Here’s an overview of what each color represents when we consider the psychology of colors:
❤️ Red: energy, passion, and action; can symbolize both love and aggression
🔶 Orange: energy, enthusiasm, warmth; used to show creativity and adventure
🌞 Yellow: happiness, joy, warmth; should be used sparingly—too much yellow can make people anxious
🍃 Green: relaxation, growth, health; symbolizes nature and has more positive energy than other colors
💧 Blue: trust, reliability, calm; should be balanced out with complementary colors because can it can feel too sad
🍇 Purple: royalty, wealth, luxury; this is best used as an accent color because too much purple can be perceived as arrogance
