Shaylynn got a good report from her oncologist today. Hgb was 13.5, platelets 215, and AnC slightly lower than normal range at 1030 but due to allergy season this isn’t uncommon. Shaylynn is feeling well and ready for summer.

Another month of winning. Shaylynn is feeling great and still continues to gain strength each day. 2 1/2 years of fighting cancer doesn’t go away overnight which is a harsh reality. Labs today showed Hgb 13.2, platelets 213, and AnC 2740. Shaylynn loves being outside on her scooter, riding her horse with dad, movies with mom, and hanging out with friends. 🙌 thank you everyone for continuing to follow our girls journey.

We have a local family from Ash Grove that need our help. Shaylynn has enjoyed following this sweet boy on FB. If any of our friends are golfers we would love to see them have a great turn out for this tournament. Josh and I do not golf but will likely go by just to leave a donation. May gods hands touch this family.

We made it to Hawaii yesterday. It was a long day of flights but we are so glad to be here and can’t wait to go adventuring today and swimming as shay says. There will be lots more pictures to come.

Had a great visit today at KC. Shaylynn’s Hgb was 13, platelets 200, and AnC was 2000. She has felt great over last month and continues to amaze us daily with her strength and resilience. Now to leave on Tuesday for her make-a-wish trip to Hawaii.

Great labs and visit. Shaylynn’s Hgb was 12.9, platelets 198 and AnC was 970. Shaylynn did have her first migraine that lastest 5 days so we pray her doesn’t get another and this was a fluke thing. We will go back in one month.

This team has meant so much to us over the last 2 1/2 years. Thank you Dr Gamis, Paige Johnson NP and the great oncology team at Children’s Mercy in KC for exceptional care for Shaylynn! We will still be going monthly for quite awhile but no more chemo!!!
