the pretty photos are one thing… but this wedding was built in the in-between moments. Then factor in that this is for one of my oldest, best friends, and suddenly every single part of it meant that much more.

afternoons assembling florals ourselves,
family members helping me place every panel,
little hands passing me letters like it was the most important job in the world.

and somehow, in a place that wasn’t home, every vendor showed us southern hospitality that made it feel like it was. A true glimpse into who Ben & Veronica are, the wonderful life they’ve made together.

this one wasn’t just designed, it was curated with a whole lot of love for two very special people ❤️

Some real life for your Friday Feed:

Lately, my anxiety has been a little louder than usual.

As Aila’s birthday approaches, so do some difficult memories of our beginning. This is one of those “trauma-versary” periods where your body remembers things even though life has moved forward.

Most days still look normal: mom life, work, creating, getting through the to-do list. But inside, that old fight or flight mode can slowly creep in and consume your thoughts.

Having this anniversary during the busiest season of the year for stationers has been hard, but over the years, I’ve learned that creating is one of the things that helps steady me. It’s the one thing that helps me stay the course. Sitting down to design or assemble something reminds me there’s still beauty in the middle of all the chaos.

I know this is a hard pivot from my usual content, but I’ve hidden this part of my story for so long. Healing is a lifelong journey, and not something we should be ashamed of.

So if this season feels heavy for you too, I see you. You’re not alone. 🤍

One of my favorite ways to elevate an invitation suite?

Mixing print methods.

For this suite, we combined digital printing and letterpress across every card - allowing the soft watercolor florals and delicate details to stay crisp while letting the typography take on that deep, tactile impression that only letterpress can create.

The result? A suite that feels layered, intentional, and timeless ✨

If you’re getting married on Valentine’s Day, you don’t dabble in the theme… you marry it ✨

Not to get emo but I truly couldn’t have dreamed up a more perfect wedding (or groom) for one of my oldest, longest and best friends 🥹 from lap lanes to wedding aisles, I’m glad we get to witness every awkward phase of life together. If you need me, I’m looking at these pics & sobbing all over again.
