Wheww!! This summer & fall have been so action-packed that I haven't even had the chance to reflect on Country Concert 2026!

A huge thank you to Jim Prenger, Scott Barhorst, and the entire Barhorst/Country Concert Fam! You've all allowed me to have an experience of a lifetime and learn lessons that you simply can't learn in the classroom. I am incredibly grateful for the trust, opportunities, and memories that came with being a part of this amazing festival. A special shoutout to Chase Coburn for joining me as a second shooter this year...It was awesome having you tag along!!

This year, I was tasked with capturing a ton of fan content and the overall excitement of the Midwest's premier country music festival! It was cool getting to see old friends, meet new people, and experience the weekend from a completely different perspective.

Thursday kicked things off with my good friends Montgomery Gentry Featuring Eddie Montgomery, and the night ended with Riley Green bringing Jamey Johnson on stage to sing "In Color." On Friday, I got the chance to catch up with different groups of campers, including the Jamboree in the Hills crew, who always comes up with a campsite theme. This year was Pirates!! We finished off an incredible weekend with Hudson Westbrook performing in the pouring rain on Saturday, followed by Jason Aldean closing out the 45th anniversary of Country Concert!!

I don't think people realize how many people it takes to put on a festival of this scale and quality. From the office ladies, stage crew, artists and bands, Variety Attractions, Lock 16 Catering, NKTelco, sponsors, campers, volunteers, and everyone else working behind the scenes, there are so many people who play a role in making this weekend what it is. I am truly blessed to say I play a small part in this annual tradition.

Looking ahead to next year, I'm excited to step into a bigger role creating social media & ticket graphics for the festival, and can't wait to get CC27's lineup announced VERY SOON 👀🔜

It’s going to be different without Paul this weekend. However, we all know he has the best seat in the house.

Got scorched this afternoon filming the Girls Lacrosse State Championship games for the OHSAA at the Historic Crew Stadium in Columbus. First time shooting lacrosse, and I have to say, it is very interesting...in a good way. Thanks to Tim Stried at the OHSAA for giving me this opportunity. I look forward to covering (and playing in) more OHSAA State Tournaments in the future!!

Summer is off to a GREAT start 🎶🤘
Huge thanks to Darius Rucker and Maverick Management for asking me to capture the opening show of his Songs of Summer Tour at the Toledo Zoo Amphitheater. Darius' whole team was super friendly and accommodating. See below for some cool photos & moments. Looking forward to more country music in the near future 🤠

Fourth straight year taking photos at the Wapakoneta High School Commencement Ceremony. Big thanks to the faculty at Wapakoneta City Schools for putting on such a great ceremony every year. Someone is going to have to take over next year 🤣
