14 life lessons I wish I learned earlier.
I hope these help you as much as it would've helped me.

1) You make better decisions and learn more by assuming you're dumber than everybody else.

2) The hardest respect to earn is one's own.

3) If you want to control what people think, control what they say.

4) You get more out of reading one book that great 5 times, than out of reading 5 mediocre books.

5) Most champions do not have something you do not have. They lack something you have.

6) Goodwill compounds faster than money.

7) You're going to die, if anybody cares then, nobody cares now. Do what you want.

8.) Extraordinary accomplishments come from doing ordinary things for an extraordinary period of time.

9) If it's worth doing, it's worth doing well.

10) Be willing to negotiate everything except for your values.

11) Humility does not come from lowering your regard for yourself but from increasing your regard for others.

12) The happy man has a thousand wishes. The sad man has one.

13) Failure leads to learning. Learning leads to success. Success leads to complacency. Complacency leads to failure.

14) I would pay any amount of money to make obvious truths real for me.

CTLR- Control

Taking control of your business can start with ONE action each day.

Here’s a step to try today:

-Evaluate and streamline your daily tasks with a time audit

*Track how you spend your time during the day.
-Write down or use a tool to log your tasks for a 24 hour period.
-Review the log and see where your time is not contributing to the core goals of your business.
-Create a priority list for tomorrow.
-Delegate, eliminate or automate non-essential tasks and focus your time and energy on high impact activities

Just curious: Where does everyone stand on the subject of New Year’s resolutions? Are you: A. Realistic-set 1 goal, B. Optimistic-set 3 priorities per month to achieve my overall goal, or C. Rebel - just as likely to set your goals into motion on the 18th of June, because rules are made to be broken?
I’ll speak for myself and say I was a B most of my life, but now, I’m an A AND B all the way. My reason? When I started this business, I was used to modifying my expectations in a way I eventually realized was primarily motivated by fear, but now I know, that the clearer I get, I can break my 1 big goal into 3 actionable goals each month! I get more done, and I move closer to achieving my overall goal! Now you! Are you A, B, or C?

Can I be a little vulnerable with you here? I like to think I am organized. At least I thought I was anyway.

Until I put my phone down on a counter and another person happened to see my home screen. UGH!

They were so blown away at how many apps I had on my phone! Honestly, I was a little embarrassed.
I didn't realize that my phone was an app graveyard! (see what I did there in the spirit of Halloween?)
You know how it happens. You need this app in order to do this thing, and so on and so on, and then you don't need it anymore.

Sometimes you just need something or someone to light your fire to evoke action. Here's what I did:

1 - Deleted the space-sucking apps that I don't use anymore.
2-Seriously organized the everyday apps on my home screen. If I didn't use it every day...get to the background :)
3-Organized all the rest of the apps into folders (grouped by app function, ie: photography, social media, etc)

Do you know what happened when I did this?

I became more efficient in using apps on my phone!
YAY for productivity!!!

Can you relate? Do you have that one thing that you just don't really want to organize? If you do, did you tackle it, and how?

Can you share one trick you use on your phone that keeps it organized and efficient?

Can I get REALLY personal with you? The most difficult thing about my business these days has been balancing it with my responsibilities. But I am so motivated to push through because I want to help my family long term and build an organization to help my community. I have been working at this for a while now and have learned so much and I continue to learn from folks who’ve been at this longer than I have. What’s keeping you motivated through your latest challenges?

What do you see when you look at a blank page? Is it easy to fill it up with ideas, or does that take some serious work? I am a huge fan of building something from nothing, and when I need to really build something, I like to clear my head by sitting down with a great cup of coffee! How do you get your creative juices flowing?

Getting Clear

Your mind gets "cluttered" with EVERYTHING you have to do, be, and want.

Dean Graziosi has some GREAT advice:

Make a NOT to-do list!

What? What does that mean?

Start with making a list of everything you need to do.

Then, audit your list. How? By looking at your list and deciding what you can:

*AUTOMATE
*DELEGATE
*ELIMINATE

AUTOMATE- Can you automatically have your bills paid online, for example? Can you have your groceries automatically delivered?

DELEGATE - Can you have a friend/relative pick up your child so you can work out? Can you have someone vacuum and wash your floors once a month so you can have time with your family?

ELIMINATE - When you evaluate your list, do you really need to do that task? Does it serve the person you WANT to become, WHERE you want to go, WHO you want to spend your time with?

You may find that you have uncovered HOURS of time. TIME is the most precious commodity. SPEND it well.

Let us know in the comments below what you Automated, Delegated, or Eliminated!
I look forward to hearing your ideas!

Have a great WEEK!
