Just tested this newbie out today and I’m impressed so far. Sounds great (and clean in my not-soundproof recording area) just using the USB-C and MOTIV Mix app to boost my “brightness” setting a bit. Is it replacing my Neumann TLM 49? No, of course not. But that wasn’t the point. For ease of use and versatility without a hit in vocal quality that would be noticeable to the typical podcast listener…I really dig the MV7+! The more I dig into setting up clients with podcast kits of varying degrees of complexity and cost, the more I appreciate products like this. Doesn’t hurt that it’s cool-looking. Goes a long way in the streaming age. Nicely done, Shure! 🙌🏻
