Steven and I are truly honored and humbled to accept the 2025 Excellence in Business Award on behalf of East Bay Printing.
Fifty-one years ago, my dad opened the doors to a small print shop with one machine, a lot of heart, and a big dream—to serve our community with quality, honesty, and care.
Back then, he was not thinking about awards or longevity. He was just hoping to make enough to pay the bills and give people a service they could count on. He didn’t have a business plan so much as a promise: that if you walked through our doors, you’d be treated like family.
This community—we can’t thank you enough. You’ve stood by us through changing times, economic ups and downs, technology shifts, and even a pandemic. You brought us your flyers, wedding invitations, church bulletins, school projects, business cards—each one of them a small piece of your life.
To us, those jobs were never “just printing.” They were relationships. They were trust. And that trust is what kept us going for more than five decades.
We’re proud of our past, but we’re also excited about the future. As we look ahead, we’re committed to keeping our values strong, embracing new technologies, and continuing to serve our neighbors with the same heart and hustle we’ve always had.
Thank you to the chamber, and to everyone who believes in the power of local businesses. Thank you for recognizing not just the big numbers or the flashy success stories—but the quiet, consistent, hardworking ones too.
