The red lipstick is a classic, and each season has its shade of red that works best! I decided to make this post to show the wide variety of shades we can have in a single color and how one color can harmonize with every season.

Your contrast will influence how light or deep your lipstick can be. So, to find the perfect tone of red for you, we need to do your color analysis.

To illustrate, I selected some pictures to show you a few examples of red shades inside each color season family.

The Summer family will harmonize with light, soft and cool undertones. A light tone of reddish with pinkish undertones is the best choice. Also are sheer finish will help tone down the true red's brightness.

The Spring family will harmonize with light, bright and warm undertones. The glossy and creamy options are better than the matte versions. The best choice is a true red (like the tomato) with warm undertones such as coral and an orange-red finish.

The winter family will harmonize with deep, bright, and cool undertones. The best choice is berry red (like the wine) with rich deep pinkish tones. The lipstick can have an intense color with a creamy finish.

The Autumn family will harmonize with deep, soft, and warm undertones.
The natural and matte finish is better than the super glossy version. The best choice is rich brownish red with a warm undertone.

Today I chose the beautiful Charlize Theron to show you the positives and negatives effects of the color tones! She is in the spring family! That means warm, bright, and light tones highlight her beauty even more. So cool and deep tones are not the best options for her spring beauty! Her features are more balanced, and her beauty is more highlighted in the pictures on the right side! What do you think?

Five facts about me that I bet you didn’t know about it!

1- My name is Nathalia, I’m 30 years old, and I used to live in Brazil, Rio de Janeiro. I moved to the US 4 years ago! I had never lived in another country before.

2- I have a master's degree in special education, and I used to work with children with disabilities. Since I moved to the US, I decided to study something new! Fashion! But education always is going to have a special place in my heart!

3 - Today, I don’t see myself doing another thing but helping women feel unique about themselves through their clothes and colors! Empowering other girls to understand and bring out their beauty is what I want to do!

4 - I love dogs; I have a Pomeranian fox face! He has been helping me deal with the distance of my family who lives in Brazil!

5 - I love traveling and getting to know new places! But I’m always scared of airplanes! So every time I need to travel, I have to deal with my fear!
