Ford Mustang Raptor is an unusual new car that reimagines the iconic sports coupe as an off-road beast. This limited-edition model is set for release in 2026, drawing inspiration from rally-style vehicles like the Dakar-winning Porsche 911 and Lamborghini Sterrato.

Key features
Engine: A naturally aspirated V8 paired with all-wheel drive—a rarity for Mustang, which typically sticks to rear-wheel drive setups.

Suspension: Long-travel Fox Live Valve shocks elevate the chassis for serious off-roading, transforming a track car into a rugged adventurer.

Price and production: Starts around $90,000 with a capped production run, positioning it as a collector's item from the start.

Why it matters
The Mustang Raptor breaks from tradition to appeal to crossover fans who crave speed mixed with dirt-road capability. It represents Ford's bold experiment to expand the muscle car audience into new territory.

Starship is a next‑generation super heavy‑lift rocket being developed by SpaceX to carry people and cargo to Earth orbit, the Moon, and eventually Mars. It is designed as a fully reusable system, aiming to lower launch costs dramatically compared to traditional expendable rockets.

What makes Starship special
Starship consists of two stages: the Super Heavy booster and the Starship upper stage spacecraft, which operate together as a single launch system. Both stages are intended to return to Earth and be reused many times.

Fully stacked, the vehicle is about 120 meters tall and 9 meters in diameter, making it the tallest rocket ever built.

Power and payload
The Super Heavy booster uses 33 methane‑fueled Raptor engines, producing around 16 million pounds of thrust at liftoff. This gives Starship more launch power than earlier heavy rockets such as Saturn V and NASA’s Space Launch System.

In its baseline configuration, Starship is expected to place roughly 100–150 tons of payload into low Earth orbit, with higher capacities possible in expendable or specialized configurations.

Missions and future plans
The system is intended for missions ranging from satellite deployment and cargo flights to the Moon to future crewed expeditions to Mars. Over time, SpaceX plans for Starship to replace its current Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy launch vehicles.

SpaceX has also discussed concepts for using Starship for high‑speed point‑to‑point travel on Earth, potentially enabling intercontinental trips in under an hour.

The Lofoten Islands, Norway
Located 800 miles from Oslo and 95 miles north of the Arctic Circle, the Lofoten archipelago is known for its remote, rugged beauty. Here you’ll find clear blue waters that rival the Mediterranean, craggy mountains that rival Iceland, and enough edgy museums and fishing villages to rival...well, just about anywhere in Scandinavia.
