According to a 2019 study published by Portent, the first five seconds of page-load time have the highest impact on your site's conversion rates. This highlights the importance of optimizing your pages to make sure that load speeds remain quick for your clients and with little to no delay.

How do you do this, you ask? Make sure that your pages' code is optimized (ie-remove any spaces, comma, and any unnecessary characters); reduce the number of page redirects on your site; consider using a Content Distribution Network (CDN) to distribute the load of delivering content; and make sure that your images are sized appropriately as larger sized images can affect your overall page speed.
