We are proud to launch Parents for Safe Online Spaces today, a coalition of 20 families who have lost children to online harms. Together, these families are turning their grief into advocacy in support of the Kids Online Safety Act that will enact long-term safeguards to protect kids and teens online.

The JLH Strategies team was hard at work last week/weekend supporting clients with various advocacy initiatives.

1️⃣ First, we assisted the Global Initiative for Justice Truth and Reconciliation with the launch of their 'State of the Truth' report which offers recommendations on the path to healing from conflict from 18 post-conflict case studies.

2️⃣ Then, our team attended the Human Rights Campaign national dinner to voice our support for the LGBTQI+ community.

3️⃣ We capped off the weekend by supporting MissionCare Collective with the launch of their 'One Voice Many Stories' study that sheds light on the challenges caregivers face today.

Last week, the JLH team led a messaging strategy session for our client Culpepper Garden, which is home to disadvantaged older adults at risk of being unhoused. Culpepper Garden's assisted living wing was the first in the country to receive subsidies from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and serves as a thriving model for other residential communities for older adults.

Earlier this week, the JLH team had the pleasure of attending Footsteps' 20th Anniversary Benefit as they honored attorney, human rights advocate, and JLH client Julie F. Kay for her work to protect people leaving ultra-orthodox cultures.
