I joke with my friends who are musicians and writers that I sold out; that I didn't have the guts or the talent to do what they do, so I went into advertising. It's true that I did chicken out when it came to pursuing a career in classical music, but it's not true that I sold out. The truth is, I love what I do. I get to study different kinds of people and how they behave, communicate and interact
(with brands, media and each other), in just about every conceivable context. And I get to learn the nuts and bolts of a wide range of industries and organizations (thanks to my clients, I know obscure things like what a proton pump inhibitor is and how it works; and that the black-cowled oriole in the Dominican Republic is endangered in part because of the brood parasite behaviors of the shiny cowbird). I'm a human behavior ju**ie and an information ju**ie, and the steady diet of both I get from my work energizes and inspires me. And since I'm at it 12 hours a day, I want it to be FUN. That's what this page is all about. If you want to know more about the services I offer, my experience, my references, my thoughts on industry events, etc., you can find all that on my website. Here you'll get sense of my energy, my passions, and my sense of humor. And as fun as that is for me, it does serve a business purpose: a consultant's work is dramatically impacted by the lens she looks through. I hope you'll use this page to get a good impression of my unique perspective.
