Today, Indigo proudly congratulates the newest graduating class of the United States Naval Academy.

Graduation from the Naval Academy represents far more than the completion of a degree. It marks the beginning of a life of service, leadership, sacrifice, and responsibility. These officers step forward prepared to lead Sailors and Marines, often under pressure, devoting a life of service to our country.

As a company founded by a former Marine Corps officer and staffed by many veterans, we understand the weight and honor of that commitment. We know that leadership is not measured by rank alone, but by integrity, accountability, courage, and the ability to take care of the people entrusted to you. A responsibility the last 4 years have prepare you for.

To the graduates and their families, congratulations. Your hard work, resilience, and dedication have brought you to this moment. The nation will ask much of you, and we are grateful that you have chosen to answer that call.

Visibility is powerful. We are proud to be a member of the this chamber. Let's work together for a future where we all can compete.

There is a conversation happening right now in boardrooms, city halls, and procurement offices across the DMV. Contracts are being awarded. Supplier lists are being built. Funding is being allocated. And far too often, LGBTQ+ owned businesses are not in the room because they are not in the data.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day.

Our team has been out in the community all week, and everywhere we go there is a sense of celebration. Music in the hallways, small festive touches, and a lot of smiles. It is a reminder that joy does not fade with age. It becomes more meaningful.

What stands out most are the conversations. Stories about family traditions, favorite meals, and moments that still feel close. That is what makes these communities feel like home.

For many families, today is another day of showing up and caring for someone you love. If you can, take a moment to connect. A call, a visit, a shared story.

Great tips for Spring!

This weekend we “spring forward.” Many of us look forward to a little more light at the end of the day. For older adults, though, even a one hour shift can feel disruptive.

A few small steps can make the transition easier:

• Begin adjusting dinner and evening routines by about 15 minutes each night leading up to the change.

• Step outside for a few minutes of morning sunlight to help reset your internal clock.

• Walk through your home and make sure hallways and bathrooms are well lit during darker early hours.

• Double check upcoming appointments so nothing is missed.

• Adjust medication timing carefully so doses remain consistent.
