I signed $30K of new client work the second week of December.
I'm sharing this because I know so many freelancers and consultants who maybe have been crushing it for years but have been struggling lately

If you've worked with me, you know I'm a big fan of celebrating every little win and being grateful for this amazing nontraditional path we get to build as our own bosses
While there is a lot we can do to reduce the feast-or-famine cycle and build you a solid lead generation and conversion strategy, in some ways, I think business will always ebb and flow
And during the hard times, it's easy to catastrophize. What if no one ever hires me again???
So make sure you celebrate the heck out of the good times
The best thing you can do for future you? Proactively think about -- and act to create -- the business you really want.
Too often as freelancers and consultants, we are in a reactive mode; just doing client work and reacting to situations as we arise.
