In my desk, I have a couple of Ludlow slugs. Back in the hot type days, Ludlows were used to set headlines. An Adult friend and Sunday School teacher, worked at the Indianapolis Newspapers and brought me a sample. I have lost track of him, but think of him from time to time.

Most Print jobs I run based on packages of paper. The counter on the press is mostly for reference. But for the first time in the decades I have run this press, the counter messed up. And I mistakenly set out nine boxes of envelopes instead of eight. And printed them all. Oops! It is time to find a new counter.

The KORD Press is arguably the best printing press every built. Just time consuming to print four colors on both side...
