Looking for things for your staff/family to do from home?

Here are some Search Engine Optimization tasks to rank better in Google search.

- Have some articles written with answers to questions your customers would search for.
-Make sure your content is easy to read and has proper headers.
-Update old content with new information and repost
- If you don't like writing, make videos, use the transcription and clean it up with headers into an article (rev.com is cheap)
- Test your website speed an ensure it's mobile-friendly (gtmetrix.com or check your Google Page Speed Score)
-Make sure you have a sitemap & it's submitted to Google
-Get backlinks from partners & link out to them
-Have an audit done to check where you rank now
-Make sure all of your links and submission boxes work

SEO is about quality content. It can take months to rank so many give up. Now though we have some time to invest.

This year, Google search will be mobile forward, so I imagine sites with more visual and easy to digest content will pull to the top. If you sow some seeds on this now, it'll pay dividends later.

Many people also don't know better organic search rankings will make advertising with google cheaper. There's actually a (Quality Score) that will penalize you through more expensive clicks if your site doesn't rank well for the specific keywords. Share this with anyone you know advertising on Google. It can save them money.
