WMR Embroidery I love making things for family and friends and wanted to share that with others. I would love to make something for you! lol. Now, what I can make for you!

For those of you who don't know me... I am a full-time accountant, mom, wife a first responder and embroider. I was first introduce to embroidery by my grandmother, Gladys Wittenauer. She taught me how to hand embroider a dresser scarf, pillow case and quilt blocks, among many other things. I loved watching it "come to life" as I worked to finish whatever project we were making. That's when I knew

I would cherish this skill my whole life. Fast forward a few years when I married my paramedic husband, Nick and became a mom to three AMAZING kids, Wyatt, Morgan and Rose (hence the WMR name). They are my whole life and I can't imagine it without them and I enjoy taking them to dance class, dance competitions, trap practice and matches. However, every wife and mother knows sometimes you need to step away and have your own "me" time. This is when I decided to start embroider again. While I LOVE doing it by hand...it takes a LONG time to complete....just ask my family on the stuff I am STILL working on to finish for them. This is when I bought my first embroidery machine, a single needle. While it works much faster than my hands can, it still takes time to switch the threads for each color. I was SO EXCITED, when my husband gifted me my newest machine...a 6-needle. Not only does it allow me to get things completed quicker, but it also allows me to make hats! and shirts and other items flawlessly.
