We don’t post our signs very often, but we loved how these A-Frame signs turned out for Fetch a Friend Dog Rescue!

Next up in our Meet the Team series is our youngest team member, Jacob!

Jacob has been a part of Team Pilat since the day he was born (obviously!). While he's officially our part-time helper, you'll occasionally find him around the shop lending a hand with small projects whenever he's not busy with school or sports.

Truth be told, though, he'd rather be on the baseball field! Whether he's practicing, playing games, or cheering on his favorite teams, baseball is where you'll most likely find him. When he's not playing ball, he also enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors.

Even though he's still learning the ropes around the shop, we're always happy to have him around. We'll leave the designing to us and the home runs to Jacob! ⚾

Today's Meet the Team spotlight is extra special because we're celebrating our owner, Dan... and it's his birthday! 🎉

If you've ever worked with us, chances are you've met Dan. As the owner, designer, and installer, he's been the driving force behind the business since opening the doors in 1997. This year marks 29 years of helping businesses and organizations bring their ideas to life through quality signs, graphics, wraps, and more.

What many people may not know is that Pilat Design got its start with Dan hand painting race cars and racing helmets. His passion for motorsports and custom graphics laid the foundation for what would eventually grow into the full-service graphic design, sign and wrap company we are today. While the tools and technology have changed over the years, the dedication to quality craftsmanship and attention to detail have remained the same!

Outside of work, Dan enjoys spending time with his family, listening to classic rock, and making memories on the baseball field with his son. Whether it's coaching, practicing, or cheering him on from the sidelines, family always comes first.

Please join us in wishing Dan a very Happy Birthday and congratulating him on 29 incredible years in business! Here's to many more years ahead!

Next up in our Meet the Team series is our Senior Graphic Designer, Megan!

Megan has been part of the Team Pilat family since April 2019, bringing over seven years of creativity, experience, and passion to every project she works on here. Before joining our team, she earned her degree in Visual Communications from Cazenovia College, where she developed the design skills and creative foundation she uses every day!

One of Megan's favorite parts of her job is helping businesses bring their ideas to life. Whether she's creating a brand-new logo for a startup or designing vehicle wraps, signs, motorsports wraps, or marketing materials, she loves working with clients from the very beginning and watching their businesses grow. Seeing a customer's vision come to life is what makes her job so rewarding.

Outside of the office, Megan enjoys spending time with her husband, their dog - Finn who you might have seen around the office a time or two, friends, and family!

We're lucky to have Megan's creativity, attention to detail, and dedication as part of our team.

Just a reminder that we will be closed today so our team can enjoy an extended holiday weekend with family and friends.

Next up in our Meet the Team series is our four-legged employee, Dodger!

Dodger has been Team Pilat's official mascot since August 2020 and takes his job very seriously! If you've stopped by the office, chances are you've been greeted by his wagging tail and friendly personality.

As a Fox Red Labrador Retriever, Dodger spends his days supervising projects, keeping an eye on visitors, and making sure no snack goes unnoticed. He's a customer favorite and loves meeting new people who stop by the shop so if you haven't met him yet stop by and say hi - he's always happy to make new friends!

When he's not busy welcoming customers, you'll find him napping in the office, searching for squeaky toys, or hoping someone accidentally drops a treat.

Be sure to say hello (and maybe give him a few pets) the next time you stop in!

Two trucks. One company. Two unique styles.

We recently completed these half wraps for Double R Custom Homes, and we love how they turned out! While both trucks maintain the same branding and professional look, each driver chose a design style that reflects their own personality.

The result? A cohesive company image with a custom touch for each truck.

Next up in our Meet the Team series is our Installer, Chris!

Chris joined the team in November 2023 and has become an important part of our crew. He's the one behind the many installations that leave our shop looking sharp and professional.

Chris is also the reason we got into wrapping Dirt Bikes and ATVs. His passion for racing introduced us to a whole new market, and we've loved being able to create custom graphics for fellow riders ever since.

When he's not at work, you'll likely find him at the track with his family, racing or teaching his sons how to ride. His love for motorsports, attention to detail, and hard work make him a great fit for our team!

Laura joined us a few weeks ago as our new secretary, and if you've stopped by the office recently, chances are you've already met her friendly face! She's been doing a great job helping customers, getting things organized, and keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
