Photography is capturing light. For this shot, I was tasked with capturing the light that SDI sells. Their home theaters can change to any hue or any shade of the rainbow. I took photos in a variety of colors and then collaged them together to demonstrate in a single photo the capability of the entire system. We’re not in Kansas anymore!

Photographing in this showroom (Systems Design & Integration, Inc. ) is an absolute breeze as the lighting is phenomenal! Additionally, the gilded ceiling by BlackBeak studios makes for an ideal surface to bounce my flashes off of. It bathes everyone in a flattering golden light!

This pandemic has been tough for us all, but life and its events must go on... even if they don't look exactly as we had imagined.

Within the last year, Audrey & Parker bought a home in Watertown and planned two big weddings; both of which were cancelled due to covid restrictions. So they decided to elope on a Monday morning in December (with the help of Reverend Gary Richards at St John's), and they reached out to see if I would take some photos down by the Charles River in the freshly fallen snow. They then finished their special day by walking to Super Fusion Cuisine II and ordering themselves some celebratory sushi. An excellent choice, if you ask me.

Just thought I should share this happy occasion with you all.

Today I was shooting headshots with a client in the park, and this hawk swooped down and began splashing around in a nearby puddle. It was a hot one, so I get it, but I had to apologize to my client for momentarily wandering off to get a few photos of the local wildlife.

Who doesn't love a good (virtual) snoop around a big old mansion? Even when there's no events taking place, the Commander's Mansion in Watertown, MA is a wonderful place to shoot!
