. All original artwork is captured using a Betterlight 6000E Scanback Camera capable of producing a 274 megabyte RGB file that is 20” X 26” @ 300 pixels per inch. Our photographer, Alan Lavallee, has over twenty years of experience with art reproductions. Our Senior Printmaker, Erik Thomas, has 10 years of experience in photography, graphics, and digital printmaking. As any artist or photographer who has had their work printed can tell you, the people running the equipment make the real difference between a good print and a great print. Here at DIW, we pride ourselves on going the extra mile to make sure our customers are satisfied. We realize that communicating with our customers and listening to their feedback is the best way to improve our business and our product. We will make sure we understand your goals, and budget, in order to determine the quantity, size, and media that make the best sense for you and your art. Then, we will work with you throughout the printmaking process to ensure that the final product meets your vision. Even with personal attention and advanced technology, giclée printmaking at DIW is more cost-effective than traditional fine art printing. Set-up costs are reasonable, and the fact that prints can be produced in small quantities on demand means you can reorder whenever you need them.
