Job Title: Screen Printer Assistant
Location: Waukee, IA
Job Type: Full Time
Department: Production/Print Shop
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable person to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and operating screen printing equipment to produce high-quality prints on garments, textiles, and other materials. This role requires a strong eye for detail, technical proficiency, and the ability to meet production deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate screen printing machines.
Prepare screens for printing (coating, burning/exposing, and reclaiming).
Mix inks to match specific color requirements.
Align screens and substrates for precise registration.
Perform quality checks throughout the production run.
Maintain clean and organized work areas and equipment.
Follow job tickets and instructions for each print order.
Troubleshoot and resolve printing issues as needed.
Maintain inventory of printing supplies (inks, emulsions, chemicals, etc.).
Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure accurate outputs.
Ensure safety protocols and company procedures are followed.

Qualifications:
Previous experience in screen printing or a related field preferred but not required.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Skills:
Experience with automatic press operation helpful but not required

Working Conditions:
Exposure to inks, chemicals, and heat.
Requires standing, bending, and repetitive motion.
