The Press Operator is responsible for the operation of Offset Sheetfed presses, changing inks and loading material, efficiently with exceptional quality and attention.

Full and Part Time positions available.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability suggested. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Set up and operate offset sheetfed printing press

- Follow production schedules

- Ensure safe and efficient set up and operation of the printing equipment

- Check quality continually ensuring standards are met or exceeded

- Find substrates needed for job

- Troubleshoot any press/print problems using strong mechanical aptitude

- Accurately and safely use equipment including the printing press, measuring equipment, hand tools and densitometer

- Record and maintain records pertaining to production time and quality

- Ensure all finished product meets all quality requirements set by Rotographic Printing

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

- Offset Sheetfed experience preferred

- Strong mechanical skills

- Computer skills for job detail input and machine operation needed

Experience in all duties is preferred but not required, we are willing train the right candidate.
