Our Why

Today, we were reminded why this 5K event matters so much.

Someone reached out asking for a sponsorship. But behind that request was something even bigger — a brave, life-changing decision. Someone chose rehab today. And we are overwhelmed with gratitude that their decision wasn’t determined by the balance in their bank account.

The truth is, rehab and sober living are expensive. Incredibly expensive. And finding a good, trustworthy place? That’s not easy. There’s no universal standard of care required to open a facility, anyone can decide to start one. That makes the choice of where to go not just important, but critical.

Today, someone chose hope. Someone chose healing. Someone chose a new beginning.

We are so proud of them.
