Yβall see a $25 custom shirt and start doing Walmart math. π
β$25?! π³ I can buy a shirt for $5!β
Okay. π₯°
Then go buy the $5 shirt. π
Nobody is stopping you.
But PLEASE stop comparing a small business making ONE custom shirt for you to a corporation producing thousands of shirts at once.
Because babyβ¦ that math ainβt mathing. π
Youβre not paying $25 for βjust a shirt.β
Youβre paying for:
β¨ The blank shirt
β¨ The design
β¨ DTF transfer
β¨ Supplies
β¨ Equipment
β¨ Software
β¨ Packaging
β¨ My time
β¨ My labor
β¨ My skill
β¨ My CREATIVITY
β¨ My EXPERIENCE
And the convenience of sending me a picture, saying βI want this on a shirtβ and magically receiving the finished product without having to figure out how to make it yourself. π
I answer the messages.
I make the mockup.
I prepare the design.
I press the shirt.
I check the shirt.
I package the shirt.
I handle the order.
And somehow the part that gets questioned is my $25. ππ
Meanwhile, some of yβall will spend $9 on a drink you finish in 12 minutes and nobody needs to know about the ingredients, labor, rent, electricity, or profit margin. π
& I refuse to compete with Walmart, Amazon, Temu, or somebody selling shirts so cheap theyβre basically donating their labor. π
I know what my products cost me.
I know how long they take.
I know what my time is worth.
And Iβm not working for free just because somebody else decided they wanted to.
Custom work has VALUE.
So if my price isnβt for you? Thatβs okay. β€οΈ
Just keep scrolling.
& to everybody who actually GETS IT?
The repeat customers.
The ones who share.
The ones who recommend me.
The ones who say βGirl, charge more!β π
The ones who support small businesses without trying to negotiate every single dollarβ¦
I SEE YOU. π₯Ήπ©·
Community over competition.
Support small businesses.
