Erica Hope has owned restaurants, built a business to support female entrepreneurs, and worked on cruise ships in Hawaii. Most recently, was Director of Operations at Pizzeria Vetri where she spearheaded a rebrand, redesigned the business model, and opened two new locations, all while not losing sight of her dream of owning three sheep and a front yard filled with wildflowers.

While those sheep are a little while off, what isn't is her newest venture as T&C's next Account Supervisor. We can't wait to see what she brings to the table (intentional Food & Bev pun there) for our growing roster of clients. Welcome Erica!

A "just for fun" illo from our newest designer . Also shown here are a custom type and can design for one of Troeg’s most popular brews: Sunshine Pilsner and an illo for Louisville Mag's tribute issue to the city's food-and-drink service industry. Mitch’s illo shows a service worker metaphorically//literally drowning in a Louisville classic, shrimp n' grits.

“I love doing work that feels like it makes a difference.”

is the latest difference maker to join T&C. Among Mitch’s many talents are making "ignorant style" tattoos (their friends in college all chipped in to buy them a crappy machine so they could get some free ink out of it, and 7 years later it's still one of their favorite mediums to work in.) Speaking of mediums, Mitch started reading up on astrology in college in an attempt to prove that it was all a bunch-o-bull, but ended up becoming a full fledged amateur astrologer instead. Mitch is also is a co-owner of a small type foundry that they started with fellow philly designer called .co Regardless of the medium, we’re excited to see Mitch make a difference for our clients that are committed to doing so too.

We’re excited, thrilled, stoked (you get the idea) to announce that has joined the T&C team. Shown here is a Cowpoke pin they designed when they moved to good ol’ horse country - Louisville, Kentucky, from Philly years ago. While Mitch’s feet are staying planted in the Midwest, their talents and optimism have a new home out East with our growing team.

A few other samples of their work featured here include Business cards for Parks Alliance of Louisville, a radical local org working tirelessly to ensure that all Louisvillians, especially folks living in historically marginalized neighborhoods, have equitable access to public parks and greenspace. And package design for Zignum, a line of mezcals made sustainably in Oaxaca, MX. Designed while Mitch was a youngin' at Quaker City Mercantile.

First, we had three balloons. And now? Three interns. (Spoiler alert: the interns are SO much cooler.) Say hello to our production intern who’s creating photo and video magic with us by day and her sci-fi screenplay by night. Our account intern who will be managing client relationships (and, if we're lucky, our office playlists). And our copy intern who’s probably cross-stitching her headlines right now. Stay tuned for awesome work.

Word on the street is…there are a lot more words on N. 2nd Street. And they’re coming from Hala Maher, T&C’s newest—and second ever—copywriter. graduated from Temple (where was lucky enough to have her in class) and landed a job in the middle of a pandemic, so to say she thrives under pressure isn’t just lip service.

Hala joins us from Tierney, bringing with her a keen knack for human insights and for portraying inanimate objects in scratch voiceover tracks. (You may recognize her as Wine Bottle #2 in that Fine Wine & Good Spirits radio spot.) We’re excited to see what she contributes to our clients and the agency, besides, y’know, a REAL, LIVE COPY DEPARTMENT! In a word: welcome.

She’s crushed roughly 238 consecutive client presentations. She’s a joy to work with. She’s a mentor to young writers. She’s an inspiring working mother. And now, she’s an Associate Creative Director. Join us in congratulating on a well-deserved promotion! 🎉🥳👏🏻

You probably didn’t come to Instagram to read about our healthcare plan. We don’t want our employees to have to think too hard about it either. Which is why we pay 100% of their Blue Cross premiums for them and their whole families. Then we fund a Healthcare Savings Account for them at the federally allowed maximum, which they can spend on out-of-pocket costs or invest tax-free.

Turns out most companies can afford to do this. They just choose not to. It's one of the ways we try to make work a positive force in your life. You can read about it in our employee handbook which you can download (link in our bio).
