You know what I like the best about having a business on Route 66? The people that travel through our small town and the compliments they give on what sometimes we take for granted. I just met the nicest couple from Belgium. They were looking around and I took a moment to visit with them. They complimented how nice our small town look and how friendly the people are here. It amazed them the different of how small town folks were from the bigger cities. They said we were more friendly, helpful and generous. So pat yourselves on the back as impressions are made everyday for those that come from far away. Glad to live here!

Another reminder for the CHATGPT lovers. We get request to print various sizes. Let's take an example that we dealt with today. The customer wanted an 8 1/2 X 11 flyer. Here are the sizes that famous chatgpt gave me to work with. 14 wide X 19 tall, 15 wide X 21 tall, and 22 wide X 16 tall. It might make it easier on you for the design work, but it does not give you the desired sizes, plus it is only 72 dpi. Makes extra work on our end. We can only reduce, squish and make it to your size. So please keep this in mind when you are sending it to your printer or ours. Thank you Tim

If you have not gotten in your Veteran for a banner, Noon Monday will be the extended deadline. We have 10 spots left for either new or rehangs. These must be paid in advanced to secure your spot. $50 new, the banner is yours or $25 for rehang. Thank you.

Good morning. It is that time of year we prepare for the Veteran Banners that are placed in the fall/winter time throughout the Waynesville Square and Route 66. There is a total of 75 spaces available, with 49 already spoken for with those that have paid for several years or new ones we have taken over recent months. New banner is $50 and this is YOUR banner. Need photo, Name, and branch of service. We can scan your photo for you. If it is a rehang it is $25. This is to help offset banners that have faded over the years as we are replacing 9 of those this year, at no cost to the veteran. To guarantee your banner, new or rehang, it MUST be paid by August 19, 2026. Please do not use message to contact us. Email [email protected] this way we do not miss you message.
