We didn't pick a mascot to look cool.

We picked the Sheepdog because it means something.

The Sheepdog doesn't run. Doesn't hide. Doesn't wait for someone else to step up. It guards what others take for granted.

The Sheepdog isn't just a mascot. It's who we ARE.

ThriveCon 2026 is a wrap.

Three waves. Three weeks. Our Member Engagement Team, the first voice our members hear when they need help most, showed up, leaned in, and carried the mission.

We are member-obsessed. And that starts with investing in our people.

The meals mattered. The laughter mattered. The time around tables mattered. The moments where someone felt seen, welcomed, and appreciated — those mattered most of all.

To everyone who planned, organized, drove, and poured themselves into making this week feel like home, a big thank you.

Thrivecon Wave 3 is next week. And we are READY!

The final group of Member Engagement Team heads to West Bend for ThriveCon 2026 — and this crew deserves every bit of what's coming.

It's not just the final chapter. It's the exclamation point.

These are our most member-facing Sheepdogs. The first voice a member hears. The ones who show up every single day with urgency, empathy, and heart — because the people on the other end of that call are counting on them.

2nd place - zero regrets. The Kettle Moraine YMCA - West Bend Corporate Challenge wrapped up last night. Fifteen events, eleven businesses showed team spirit throughout the month of May.

Shoutout to Westbury Bank— enjoy that 1st place trophy. Well earned!

This weekend is Memorial Day Weekend.

As we take the time to surround ourselves with family and friends and attend BBQ's this weekend, we ask that you consider adopting the name of a fallen soldier for your celebration.

One of our employees who served in Afghanistan shared this suggestion at our all-company meeting yesterday. It has helped him during the holiday. That way, the names of those who lost their lives are never forgotten.

When he and his wife host their cookout for family and friends, they set up a table to memorialize the fallen. "We set it up with pictures of each of his friends. It’s a way to honor them and also helps everyone at the party remember what the weekend is about."

May is Mental Health Awareness Month — and at Delta Defense, mental health isn't a once-a-year conversation.

We're proud to have two on-staff Life Coaches who provide individual therapy sessions to our team members — at no cost, and during work hours.

They also lead our monthly Skills for Success Series and a weekly Mental Health Minute in our all-company meeting, where tools like "observe, not absorb," "curious, not furious," and "the power of play" have become part of our shared vocabulary.

When you invest in your people's mental health, you get whole humans bringing their whole selves to the work that matters most.

This week, we kicked off the 2026 Corporate Challenge with our friends Kettle Moraine YMCA - West Bend as host, and Team Delta Defense is ready!

It’s a month of fun, friendly competition where local businesses go head-to-head while promoting health, wellness, and team spirit across Washington County. From the 5K Walk to bowling, trivia, volleyball, and more, it’s a great way to connect as a team and show up in our community.

We’re proud to join 10 other local employers this year—and after taking 1st place last year, we’re gearing up for another strong showing!
