This week, Delta Defense helped kick off the 90th United Way Of Washington County Campaign, and what a high-energy afternoon it was!

Our team showed up, rolled up our sleeves, and pitched in alongside hundreds of neighbors, local companies, and agencies who all believe in the same thing: taking care of the community we call home.

The numbers say a lot:
* 17,000+ snacks packed
* 400+ volunteers
= One BIG community impact

But the real story is the people. No single person, company, or group makes a day like this happen. It takes the combined effort of many, and we're proud to be one small part of it.

To our Delta Defense team members who gave their time, thank you. To United Way of Washington County and everyone who made the kickoff possible, thank you for the invitation to serve alongside you.

Here's to 90 years of showing up for each other, and to a strong 2026 campaign!

We had a very good girl at headquarters yesterday!

Through our partnership with the Wisconsin Guardian Foundation, we welcomed handler Ryan, a law enforcement officer, and his service dog, Delta. Meeting the dog who carries our name? Pretty special!

Ryan shared how his life has changed now that he has a service dog in his life, the training, and the partnership, and it hit close to home. We call ourselves Sheepdogs because we believe in guarding what others take for granted. Turns out that instinct looks the same whether it's on two legs or four.

Snacks were enjoyed, stories were shared, and we learned more about the programs and the wonderful work our friends at Wisconsin Guardian Foundation do.

Thank you to the entire Wisconsin Guardian Foundation team for spending time with us and for the important work you do for our veterans and first responders.

Once a year, our IT team packs up from across the country and lands at our headquarters for one thing: to get better together.

That's IT Week, and it's not a retreat. It's a week of cross-functional teams rolling up their sleeves to plan upcoming initiatives, get hands-on with new tools and training, and align on the outcomes that actually move the needle.

One of our favorite events is "UnJam" where we build focused, cross-functional squads and go straight at the problems our stakeholders wrestle with every day. No committees. No slow-walking. Just working the problem until it's unjammed.

Because we're Always Upgrading, we also run Tech Talks. Our team members are stepping up to share the subject-matter expertise they've built, so the whole org levels up together.

We embrace being members first, focusing on who makes our mission possible. The Delta IT team came together to write handwritten cards to our members. This year, we were able to write cards to over 400 USCCA members!

And yes, we work hard, but we believe that having fun is a sign you are doing it right, so we make it count outside the conference room too with chats with our president and leadership team, team dinners, and a week-ending team game night that reminds everyone why we do this together!

Never Forget.

Twenty-five years ago, heroes ran toward danger while a nation held its breath.

Today, we honor the 2,977 lives lost on September 11, 2001, and everyone who has carried their memory since.

We remember. We carry it forward.

The kids are back in school. Maybe it's time your career got the same reset.

Fall has a way of doing that: new routines, new goals, a chance to rethink what you actually want out of your work.

At Delta Defense, we're not trying to be like every other workplace.

We're built different. No apologies.

Growth looks good for us: we just made the 2026 Inc. 5000 for the 15th consecutive year! That's not luck, as we know that growth doesn't have a finish line.

PRESS RELEASE: We’re proud to share that Delta Defense has been named to the 2026 Inc. 5000, marking our 15th consecutive year among America’s fastest-growing private companies.

Even more remarkable, according to Inc., just eight companies on this year’s list have been on the Inc. 5000 for 15 years.

“Fifteen consecutive years on the Inc. 5000 is an accomplishment our entire team can be proud of. Sustained growth requires more than a strong business model. It requires people who care deeply about their work, embrace a growth mindset, and continually challenge themselves to better serve our members.”
— Mike Lowney, President, Delta Defense

This milestone reflects the dedication of our 630+ team members, the strength of our partners, and the trust of more than 860,000 USCCA Members.

We’re grateful to everyone who has been part of this journey and excited about what comes next.

Some of Team Delta Defense started their week off right by hopping on and doing some good on Monday morning. There is power in changing your routine, working with others you do not normally work with, and being a small part of something bigger.

Thanks to the Volunteer Center Washington County, for your coordination and all you do for the non-profit partners in Washington County.

Meet Adaline and Joey! Both are Data Analytics Interns with our headquarters team this summer.

Adaline, graduated from UW-Milwaukee and is pursuing her Master's in Data Science and Applied Artificial Intelligence. When she's not working, you can find her working out or hanging out with her dogs!

Her favorite thing about interning at Delta?

"The endless opportunity to learn and the incredible mentorship. The managers and data scientists I've had the opportunity to work with have made the biggest impact on me, providing both career guidance and valuable life advice."

Joey recently graduated from the University of Missouri (Mizzou) with a B.S. in Computer Science and certificates in Information Systems & Cybersecurity. Outside of work, you'll find him golfing or building custom desktop PCs for family and friends.

His favorite thing about interning at Delta?

"The biggest and first thing I noticed about working at Delta is the community that is built within company walls. Everyone here is supportive of one another and builds on one another to not only better themselves as individuals, but also to better the company and the members we stand behind. The welcoming environment has led me to truly care about the details and get things done! The ability to not only learn but make an impact is something unique to the sheepdog lifestyle."

Thanks, Joey and Adaline, for being part of our sheepdog squad this summer!
