OK, sure. People are getting excited that AI can build websites now.

And guess what? Design jobs still aren’t going anywhere anytime soon.

AI can build you a website. But before it can do that well, you'd need to hand it your brand strategy, your customer psychology, your content hierarchy, your copy direction, and a clear visual identity.

And whenever you’d get that done, you'd still need to know where to host it, how to maintain it, how to grow it, and how to fix it when something breaks.

You’d have to know what’s not working in order to help it troubleshoot FOR you, and that just takes more time than it would to work with a professional.

On one side, there’s a craving for the tactile and the "human”….rough edges, 2016-era nostalgia, and hand-drawn elements that prove a person (not just an algorithm) was behind the work.

On the other side, we’re pushing the boundaries of what’s digitally possible with hyper-realistic liquid textures and UI that feels alive under your fingertips.

Personally? We believe the best brands live right in the middle of that tension - or better yet, lean into what feels perfectly aligned in order for themselves to shine to their customers. That can be trendy, to timeless, to anywhere in-between.

Class is in session! Let’s nerd out for a second on the anatomy of brand design.

People who hire help to craft them a “quick logo” often are left feeling….lost afterwards.

”Okay, now what?”

That’s because a great brand is far more than just a logo; it’s actually a living, breathing ecosystem built on deliberate strategy.

TL:DR - It’s a way to translate the values of your brand or business, and how you want people to view and interact with you existing in their world, into a tangible experience.

Here is how I like to break down the theory of the build:

👉 Phase I: Brand aesthetics — This is what everyones knows (and assumes): logos and icons, typography, the whole visual system that serves as a baseline to help you market yourself.

👉 Phase II: Brand positioning — This is where you define your unique territory in the market, and using your cohesive visual design to communicate your core values with undeniable impact on your audience.

👉 Phase III: Brand architecture — This is the final layer of the foundation where you dive deep into the psychology of the user journey. Will you have a newsletter? How do people reach out to you? What are your offerings and systems?

True brand design is a marriage of art and strategy, and that’s what many forget.
