I want to welcome everyone to the New Year 2024. There will be a lot happening here this year. Starting off my wife and I retire. Kim has retired as of Jan 4th and I retire on Jan 10th. We will have a few trips coming up starting with Road To California, for a few days. Then a trip to Quartzite AZ for the RV show. In February we are taking our RV on a 8 day trip to Lake Powell, Monument Valley, Valley of the Gods, and Meteor Crater. As soon as we are back from that it is off on a 7 Day Mexican Cruise. So we will be busy. Once we are back and settled my plan is to start doing more projects and videos on this channel. Now that I don't have a full time job I can do more of what I enjoy. So stay tuned for pictures, ideas and tutorials on everything from Quilts, to Embroidery and Vinyl Tee Shirts.

This is Anita Goodesign Americana quilt. This is an embroidery quilt to hang on the wall. I saw it about 4 years ago and always wanted to make it. I started 3/20/2020 with the center piece the Indian. I have been working on it off and on for 3 years now. Kim and I picked the fabrics and thread colors for the designs. There is a lot of different appliqué techniques used. We also used different fabrics, from cotton to leather, suede, denim and canvas. It got very thick in the seams and became difficult to sew together as it got bigger. I used my long arm to put the back and batten together. I really thing it turned out great. Here are some pictures of it and it will hang on the wall in the house. The final stitch count was 2,063,757 stitches.

We now have a Handi Quilter Amara Long arm. We have had it since January and I am now getting very comfortable using it...

We now have a Handi Quilter Amara Long arm. We have had it since January and I am now getting very comfortable using it. Had a steep learning curve to it but I just need some practice. Here are a few of the quilts I have done so far. I will post more soon.

We did a custom chair for a little girls room. It was done using pressure vinyl with Raiders, Knights, and Rebels.

Completed a new Jacket for a customer. It was a Denver Broncos jacket done in Glitter Vinyl. Turned out great.

Sorry we have not posted in a while. I am going to try to get better with that. We are still busy doing custom orders for quilts and tee shirts. Here is a jacket we did a few months back for a customer. She wanted a Johnny Cash jacket with embroidery and HTV. It turned out great.

Finally back working on the Anita Goodesign Americana quilt. I hope to be done in a few months.

Kim and I just finished this Anita Goodesign Christmas Town Quilt. We started over the 4 day Thanksgiving break and every weekend since until today. I was commission by a customer and I am sure she will be very happy with it. It has over 2 million stitches in it and each block takes close to 2 hours to do. All made with Floriani thread and appliqué.
