Went to Chicago with my daughter Amy, to attend the Guinness Book of World Records largest gathering of living organ donors and was lucky enough to have my other daughter drive up from Cincinnati to join us! Amazing group of people and man, Chicago is cool!

Did you know that in 1727, Johann Heinrich Schulze discovered that silver nitrate darkened upon exposure to light, but photography wasn't first used until the year 1839 by Sir John Herschel when he successfully experimented with photographs on glass as early as September 9 of that year. And he was a philosopher, not a scientist, so his contributions to photography are usually not noted! Poor dude.
