3 Steps to Simplifying your social media marketing strategy.

1- Pick 1-2 platforms to work use. If you are using or want to use FB ads then I suggest using FB.
2- Post 3+ times per week on your chosen platform, with at least one video from you a week.
3- Ignore all other platforms.

Do this and you will see far more success with your social media than if you are trying to juggle 3 or more platforms at once.

I have found that I want to go and do all of the fun things instead of being consistent with my business.

So...I decided that I will do all of the important things and let some of the other things "slide" a little bit.

What is a Funnel and why do I need one?
If you are newer to the marketing world and have been hearing this word "funnel" being tossed around nonchalantly and you keep thinking to yourself what the heck is a funnel and why do these marketing gurus care?

Well here I am to help give you a little insider knowledge. A funnel is simply a set of web pages that prospects go through to get to know you or your product. They are very simplified and get prospects to take a specific action like watch a webinar or buy a product. It is referred to as a funnel because you take a cold audience or someone who doesn't know anything about you and by the end they become warm or hot and are closer to taking an action.

The word funnel is used because it helps to create a visual of your prospects coming to you at the top of the funnel as a cold audience and coming out the bottom as a warm audience or having taken the action you wanted them to take.

Having a funnel (or a process your prospects go through) is an effective marketing strategy because people can get to know you or your product, build trust with you and then potentially buy. This process may be quick for some people or take longer for others (they may stay in the funnel for awhile before taking action). This is a really effective way to build an audience for a lot of businesses. If you are a business who needs leads then you can figure out a way to build a funnel for your clients.

Are you scared what the IOS changes are going to mean for your Facebook Ad strategy?

Of course you are.

The unknown can be scary, and that is okay. Change happens whether we like it or not, but there is a lot of good that can come from change.

We don't know how this is all going to shake out.
What I do know is that a lot of good can come from this change.

It is forcing companies to change how they do things and as a result how we do things.

I am excited for the changes and the good that will come from them.

Ever get completely stumped on what to post about? Here are my top tips when it comes to creating relevant posts for your audience.

1- Think like your audience. Put yourself in their shoes and try to imagine what they are struggling with.
2- Think about what challenges you are having, are there any lessons you can take and make relatable to your audience?
3- Look at what your competitors are posting about and see if there are relatable things to your audience.
4- Be personal or vulnerable with your audience. We love to relate to each other, but it is really hard if you never get personal. Video is a really great way to connect with your audience. Just the act on getting on video is vulnerable.

I bet you can't guess how I came up with this post? You guessed it #2! Coming up with posts for Facebook can be so challenging at times, especially if you think it has to be perfect and full of wisdom. Sometimes the simple posts are the most effective. Try not to put too much pressure on yourself and keep things light and easy!

*Something to consider when doing any new creative on FB*

Did you know Dark Mode recently became a new feature? Why is this relevant? Things look a little different with a dark background (think ads, cover photos, videos, etc.). Because of this you may want to check what things look like in both modes before hitting publish.

How do you switch to dark mode you ask? Simply hit the triangle in the upper right corner, then click on Display and Accessibility, then click Dark Mode on or off.
