🚲 Notice: Use of the West Warwick Greenway Bike Path 🚲

The Town of West Warwick reminds residents and visitors that motor vehicles are prohibited on the West Warwick Greenway Bike Path under state law (§ 31-27-19).

Violations include:
$100 fine
Six (6) month license suspension

✅ Permitted: Class 1 electric bicycles only
Motor assists only while pedaling
Assistance stops at 20 mph

🚫 Not permitted: Class 2 (throttle-based) and Class 3 (pedal-assist up to 28 mph) electric bicycles.

⚠️ Exemptions: Emergency and government vehicles while performing official duties.

We appreciate your cooperation in keeping the West Warwick Greenway Bike Path safe and enjoyable for all community members.
