Johnston Softball Show Opener

Day 2-3 of the state track meet. Bryce Beachem takes 3rd in the 200m. Alijah Armstrong jumps 22’6.5 to place 3rd in the long jump. Boys DMR and 4x200 place 7th. Jack Crossland places 7th in the 1600m along with Steven Tour in the 100m. SMR places 8th.

Olivia Fehn places 4th in the 800m. Girls DMR and 4x100 places 6th. Girls 4x400 places 7th. Bella Paulson places 3rd in the 100m, 200m, and 400m.

Day one of state track and field.
Crossland is one of 5 who broke the state record in the 2-mile while placing 5th overall. Ele Wharton places 7th in the 3000m, breaking the school record. Girls 4x800 places 2nd along with the boys placing 5th. Beachem qualifies for finals in the open 200m along with Tour in the open 100m. Fehn places 7th in the 400m along with many other incredible achievements from the rest of the team.

State qualifying meet at Iowa City High.
Johnston boys qualified 17 of 19 events.
Johnston girls qualified 16 of 19, including wheelchair 100, 200, and 400m.

We finish the Drake relays with a 1600m Drake Relays champion, a 3rd place finish in the girls 4x800, a second and fifth place in the boys long jump, along with many other accomplishments.
