Meet Makala Kafer, Public Relations Coordinator at PolicyWorks. Makala loves that no two days look the same and values the relationships she builds along the way within her role.

Outside of the office, Makala enjoys the outdoors, TV shows, trying new restaurants or traveling with family and friends. A proud Iowa State alum, she discovered her passion for media during her time at Iowa State through sports broadcasting and production. Raised near her family’s farm and now calling downtown Des Moines home, she appreciates the best of both worlds.
