Unpopular opinion: nobody cares how pretty your website is.

There. I said it.

Pretty websites win design awards. Websites built to convert win customers. And for a local business trying to grow, there's only one that actually matters.

If someone lands on your homepage and can't figure out what you do, who you help, or what to do next
within 5 seconds, your website has already failed. No amount of custom animation or carefully chosen fonts fixes that.

This isn't an argument against good design. A professional, clean website absolutely builds trust. But
design should serve the strategy, not replace it.

The businesses I see struggling with their websites almost always have the same problem: they built
something they're proud to look at instead of something their customers know how to use.

Ask yourself these three things right now:
→ Can someone tell what you do the second they land on your page?
→ Is it obvious who you serve?
→ Is there one clear next step staring them in the face?

If the answer to any of those is "not really", that's where to start. Not the color palette.
