Hi friends! This one is for my photography enthusiasts! If you have sparklers at home, try this out and let me know how it goes.

Writing with Sparklers How-To:

Here are tips for writing with sparklers. It is a fun, creative way to use your camera in ways you may not have tried yet.

Equipment: DSLR camera and a tripod or steady surface.
Put camera on the tripod.
1. Switch camera to Manual mode (M)
2. Adjust to the following settings:
ISO: 400
Aperture/f-stop: f8
Shutter speed: 5 full seconds (usually indicated by a 5“ or 5‘)
3. Once the sparkler is lit, have the subject start drawing! (Keep in mind if you’re drawing words, it will appear in reverse to the camera, so you will need to write backwards for it to appear correctly)

Extra tip: if you have multiple words or pictures, just use a longer shutter speed (try 20 seconds), and put a piece of black paper in front of the lens for a second, then remove once ready to capture the next word.
