Woe are those who will miss her...
With great sadness, we need to let you know that on Saturday, April 13th, our funny, kind, and beautiful soul, Joyce Thompson, embarked on her journey from this life to the next.
We know you’re probably reading that last sentence again and believe me, so are we. We are shocked and somewhat in disbelief.
If you knew Joy, it means you were one of the lucky ones whose life she touched. It means you had someone looking out for you, lending an ear for you and even praying for you, when needed. All of this above and beyond her providing phenomenal customer service and running the company. She embodied the core values in Real Estate today: Honesty, Integrity, and helping others.
With their vision and dream, Joyce and Michael Thompson began RealVision Studios in 2001. Their work has been featured in magazines and websites across America. They were on the forefront in leading the trend of professional real estate photography and bringing homes and businesses alive virtually. With Mike’s passing in January 2014, Joyce was faced with fear and anxiety of continuing their legacy without her soulmate. With encouragement and help from family and friends, both inside the industry and out, she not only took it over but made it flourish.
She beat teenage cancer, which left her with a compromised immune system, contributing to her recent health problems. With lifelong asthma and chronic lung infections, she developed COPD. All of this would ultimately lead to the pneumonia in recent days, and complications of COPD, that cost her her life.
In honor of their legacy, it's our privilege to continue to operate RealVision Studio, and we will all strive to make this tragic and unfortunate transition as seamless as possible. Rest assured that the team of knowledgeable, professional and talented individuals that Joyce and Mike put together, will continue to serve and support you and your Real Estate photographic needs with the best-in-class service you are accustomed to.
Please continue to use all of our current contact information. If that should change in the future, we will notify you. Don’t hesitate to reach out to us, if needed - your business needs remain our priority. We appreciate each and every one of you.
We will be holding a celebration of life service in the coming months. We will send out an additional notification as that information is finalized
We ask that you keep all of us here at RealVision Studios in your thoughts and prayers as we all will miss Joy/Joyce and the knowledge and professionalism that she brought to this organization.
Thank you as always for being part of the RealVision family
