Our Story
PRGStudios Printing is a small home-based business based in Westland Michigan. We specialize in providing very high quality photographic prints. Our focus has always been to provide the best possible photo print quality for our customers at a reasonable price. We offer photographic prints, fine-art prints, gallery-wrapped canvas prints, printed wallpaper and much much more.
Our plans for the future include providing metal prints (on aluminum), prints on Acrylic, mounting services, and even vehicle graphics.
Our printing process currently relies on an HP Designjet Z2100 44” wide printer that has 8 internal pigmented ink channels (Gloss Black, Matte Black, Light Gray, Light Magenta, Light Cyan, Magenta, Cyan and Yellow) for the widest possible color reproduction range (gamut). We utilize a full color-calibrated workflow to insure the best reproduction accuracy. We utilize a Raster Image Processor (RIP) all of our print processing for accurate print placement as well as color processing. Finally, we utilize only HP branded Vivera Inks as designed for our printer for the longest lasting prints - never using cheap 3rd-party “compatible” inks. We only utilize well-known print papers from HP, Epson, Moab and Breathing Color as well as other well-known paper brands.
