What a fun and informative night with Chef at our Gil’s Loves Local cooking class with in the Bristol showroom. Guests were treated to a delicious holiday meal from apps to dessert, all while learning about cooking with convection, induction, and steam appliances. Giveaways from Gil’s, Thermador and local favorite, topped off this high-value evening of community engagement and instruction.

Can’t wait for all the delicious cooking inspiration and appliance know-how to be shared at this class! Steam, induction and convection cooking…oh my!

Join Gil's Appliances and Chef Saba Wahid, Chopped Grand Champion and owner of Kush By Saba for a seasonal cooking class in our Thermador demonstration kitchen. Be inspired and learn tips and tricks that you can use in your own kitchen as Chef Saba prepares holiday worthy dishes in the steam oven, convection oven and on the induction cooktop. Turkey roulade with a preserved-lemon pistachio sauce, harvest grain bowls with a maple harissa dressing and pumpkin spice pots de crème are just a few of the dishes guests will learn to prepare and enjoy.

Chef Saba has been in the culinary industry for almost 20 years and has appeared on two major Food Network competition shows. Not only does she have her own successful food truck andcatering business, she's also a well-respected appliance expert after many years working with the best brands in the industry.

Still thinking about the fun and tasty evening we had last week with HunkyDory Rhode Island Gil's Appliances and Edible Rhody magazine at the most recent Gil’s Loves Local cooking class. Gil’s Bristol Thermador demonstration kitchen was filled with the delicious aroma of Chef Sam’s homemade biscuits. We enjoyed housemade crackers with Hunky Dory’s signature pimento cheese, Joanna’s bourbon blackberry bramble cocktails, biscuits with country ham and tomato jam, and shrimp & grits. Locally sourced ingredients from Andrade's Catch
Long Lane Farm and Moonrose Farm took center stage in our southern-inspired menu and were enjoyed by all.

Our guests also enjoyed flowers from Four Town Farm and giveaways from Stock Culinary Goods . So much local love!
