Sabbath Blessings my friends ….. Another wonderful Sabbath day ….. HALLELUYAH !!!!!
I had a wonderful Feast of Unleavened Bread …… it was just YAH-some….. I pray you did also……

I have some scriptures that continue to go round and around in my mind ……

1Ti 4:6 Having suggested these things to the brethren, you will be a good minister of Yahshua Messiah, having been nourished by the Words of faith,
and by the good doctrine which you have followed.
1Ti 4:7 But refuse foolish and old-wives tales. And exercise yourself to righteousness.
1Ti 4:8 For bodily exercise is profitable to a little, but righteousness is profitable to all things, having promise of the present life now, and of that coming.
1Ti 4:9 This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptance;
1Ti 4:10 for to this we also labor and are reproached, because we hope on the living Elohim, who is Savior of all men, especially of believers.
1Ti 4:11 these things command and teach.
1Ti 4:12 Let no one despise your youth, but become an example of the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
1Ti 4:13 Until I come, be diligent in reading, and in prayer, and in teaching.
1Ti 4:14 Do not neglect the gift in you, which was given to you through prophecy, with laying on of the hands of the Elderhood.
1Ti 4:15 Meditate upon these things; give yourself wholly to them, that it may be plain in all that you are progressing.
1Ti 4:16 Give attention to yourself and to your doctrine; and be firm in them, for doing this, you will both deliver yourself and those hearing you.

These are good words to follow ……. Our brother Paul knew the truth…… and he knew how it would set us free ……. We need to learn by these
words, and pattern our lives after them…… it doesn’t matter what is going on around us, what matters is who we are in YAHUSHUA…..

Sabbath Blessings my friends …….. Blessings to you on this “set apart” day ………. HALLELUYAH !!!!!!! BLESSED BE THE NAME OF
YAHWEH …….. HALLELUYAH !!!!!

Wow, after all the good weather we have had, I ice and show on preparation day……. And it got cold, down to 14, and never got out of the 20’s
Burrrrr…….. well it is still winter here in Iowa ………

I have also been dealing with a few verses this week…..

Joh 8:31 Then Yahshua said to the Jews who had believed in Him, If you continue in My Word, you are truly My disciples.
Joh 8:32 And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.
Joh 8:33 They answered Him, We are Abraham's seed, and we have never been servants owing debt to anyone, never! How do You say, You will become free?
Joh 8:34 Yahshua answered them, Truly, truly, I say to you, Everyone practicing sin is a servant of sin.
Joh 8:35 But the servant does not remain in the house forever; the son remains forever.
Joh 8:36 Therefore, if the Son sets you free, you are free indeed.
Joh 8:37 I know that you are Abraham's seed, but you seek to kill Me, because My Word is not given room in you.
Joh 8:38 I speak what I have seen with My Father. And you therefore do what you have seen with your father.

To cut to the chase….. Yahushua is speaking to you and me ….. He states, that if we continue in His word, we are His disciple …..and as
A result of that, we will know the truth, and that very truth will set us free …..they didn’t understand this….. being Abrahams seed,
And never been servants, so how can we become free…… Yahushua calmly answered them this…… “Truly, truly, I say to you, Everyone
practicing sin is a servant of sin.” And then adds to that “Truly, truly, I say to you, Everyone practicing sin is a servant of sin.”
“Therefore, if the Son sets you free, you are free indeed.” What He said after that, I’m sure made them wonder…..
He acknowledged that they were Abrahams seed then He startled them by saying this …. “but you seek to kill Me, because My Word is
not given room in you” wow …… then concludes with this statement ….. “I speak what I have seen with My Father. And you therefore do what you have seen with your father.” Now what is going on ….. are there two fathers….. Yahushua speaks of His Father, Yahweh, then he speaks of another father that is not Yahweh….. just what exactly is HE saying…..

I believe our brother Paul answers that very well in Romans 6:16-23

Rom 6:16 Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves as slaves for obedience, you are slaves to whom you obey, whether of sin to death, or obedience to righteousness?
Rom 6:17 But thanks be to YAHWEH that you were slaves of sin, but you obeyed from the heart the form of doctrine to which you were delivered.
Rom 6:18 And having been set free from sin, you were enslaved to righteousness.
Rom 6:19 I speak as a man on account of the weakness of your flesh. For as you yielded your members as slaves to uncleanness and to iniquity, so now yield your members as slaves to righteousness unto sanctification.
Rom 6:20 For when you were slaves of sin, you were free as to righteousness.
Rom 6:21 Therefore what fruit did you have then in the things over which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death.
Rom 6:22 But now having been set free from sin, and having been enslaved to YAHWEH, you have your fruit unto sanctification, and the end everlasting life.
Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of YAHWEH is everlasting life in Yahshua, Messiah our Master.

Incredible words…… do you understand them…… should you not want the gift of YAHWEH, everlasting life in YAHUSHUA, Messiah

Sabbath Blessing 2024.01.27

Shabbat Shalom my friends……. Blessings to you on this day that was made especially for us …… HALLELUYAH !!!!!!
A week ago I went through a very rough day ……. It started on 6th day …… it became extremely hard to breath, and I started to get extremely worked up about it….. as my breathing became shallower and shallower, I began to give up hope….. I asked the father why I had to go this way, why ……. As I sat there, our Abba gave me some scripture to read …… just like Him to do that….. at a time of peril, let us read scripture ….. how novel …… this is where He took me …….

1Th 5:12 And we beseech you, my brethren, that ye respect those who labor among you, and who admonish you in YAHWEH, and instruct you
1Th 5:13 even esteem them very highly in love and be at peace with them because of their work's sake.
1Th 5:14 And we beseech you, my brethren, that you correct those that offend, and encourage those who lack courage, and bear the burdens of the weak, and be patient towards all men.
1Th 5:15 See that not any one returns evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue the good, both towards one another and towards all men.
1Th 5:16 Rejoice always.
1Th 5:17 Pray without ceasing.
1Th 5:18 In everything give thanks, for this is the will of YAHWEH in Messiah Yahshua toward you.
1Th 5:19 Do not quench the Spirit.
1Th 5:20 Do not despise prophecies.
1Th 5:21 Prove all things, hold fast that which is good.
1Th 5:22 Keep back from every form of evil.
1Th 5:23 And may the Elohim of peace Himself fully sanctify you, and may your whole spirit and life and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Master Yahshua Messiah.
1Th 5:24 Faithful is the One calling you, who also will perform it.

I didn’t really understand all of this until I read a side note to verse 24…….

Php 1:6 being confident of this very thing, that the One having begun a good work in you will finish it until the day of Yahshua Messiah;

Then it finally dawned on me, “count it all joy” yes, count it all joy….. HalleluYAH !!!! my friend Deniese, had given me this scripture many times, and now I know why …… to “count it all Joy” yes, in spite of my problems, “count it all joy “ ……. I saw that I was being perfected ….

Jas 1:2 My brothers count it all joy when you fall into various trials,
Jas 1:3 knowing that the proving of your faith works patience.
Jas 1:4 But let patience have its perfective work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

Thank you all for your prayers…… I’m on the road back…… it may take me a while, but I am on that road…..

MID-WEEK Picker Upper 2024.01.17

Shalom my friends …… I pray all is going well ….. its snowing here right now, could get another 3” ……. Oh, and the windchills will
be back this evening………. Winter in Iowa …… 😊

Kinda a slow week for me, with the windchills of -40. I have not ventured very far…. I'm have gone back into a-fib, and I have a
procedure on 2nd day next week to shock me out of it But I have learned to “count it all joy” and I do…….

Mat 20:21 And He said to her, “What do you wish?” She said to Him, “Command that these two sons of mine might sit, one on Your right hand and the other on the left, in Your reign.”
Mat 20:22 But יהושע answering, said, “You do not know what you ask. Are you able to drink the cup that I am about to drink, and to be immersed with the immersion that I am immersed with?” They said to Him, “We are able.”
Mat 20:23 And He said to them, “You shall indeed drink My cup, and you shall be immersed with the immersion that I am immersed with. But to sit on My right hand and on My left is not Mine to give, but it is for those for whom it has been prepared by My Father.”
Mat 20:24 And when the ten heard it, they were displeased at the two brothers.
Mat 20:25 But יהושע called them near and said, “You know that the rulers of the gentiles are masters over them, and those who are great exercise authority over them.
Mat 20:26 “But it shall not be so among you, but whoever wishes to become great among you, let him be your servant.
Mat 20:27 “And whoever wishes to be first among you, let him be your servant,
Mat 20:28 even as the Son of Adam did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.”

So many times I am asked this question…… what is it Yahweh would have me do? Here is your answer ……..
To serve….. if you want to become great in YAHWEH’S kingdom, be a servant …….. the greatest thing we can do in our lifetime,
is to be a servant… we all need to learn how to serve one another…. And if you don’t know how, just read the gospels…
Yahushua was the perfect servant ……

Sabbath Blessings 2023.01.13

Shabbat Shalom, and a hearty Sabbath Blessing …… It’s a beautiful cold, windy, snowy day here in Western Iowa…… I haven’t seen
weather like this in many, many years ….. As of this moment, it is -3 degrees, which in its self is not that bad…. It those 30 mph winds
that are a bit brisk ….. I don’t know how they figure wind chill, but right now it is at a -30…. I can actually feel my house shudder at times…. I have a 2 story home built in 1910…… a very sturdy dwelling….. but I live on a hill, and I get the direct shot from any direction …. and boy am I getting it today …… we have had blizzard condition since yesterday morning…. At times, I couldn’t see across the street… now that’s a white out ……. We have gotten somewhere between 8 to 12 inches of snow…… but I think the snow I have here may have originally fallen in Sioux City ….. that’s 90 some miles to the North West …… lol….. however, welcome to wintertime in Iowa …… 😊

You all know, that we go through times of trial and tribulation ….. some worse than others…… yet its about how we come out on the
Other side …… Here is what James says ….

Jas 1:2 My brothers, count it all joy when you fall into various trials,
Jas 1:3 knowing that the proving of your belief works endurance.
Jas 1:4 And let endurance have a perfect work, so that you be perfect and complete, lacking in naught.
Jas 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of Elohim, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it shall be given to him.
Jas 1:6 But he should ask in belief, not doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.
Jas 1:7 For that man should not think that he shall receive whatever from the Master –
Jas 1:8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

But don’t stop there…..

Jas 1:12 Blessed is the man who does endure trial, for when he has been proved, he shall receive the crown of life which the Master has promised to those who love Him.
Jas 1:13 Let no one say when he is enticed, “I am enticed by Elohim,” for Elohim is not enticed by evil matters, and He entices no one.
Jas 1:14 But each one is enticed when he is drawn away by his own desires and trapped.
Jas 1:15 Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin. And sin, when it has been accomplished, brings forth death.
Jas 1:16 Do not go astray, my beloved brothers.
Jas 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no change, nor shadow of turning.

My friends …… Our Abba YAHWEH loves us so much…… remember HE sent HIS Son for us…… Yes YAHUSHUA came so that we might have life, and life more abundant …… let us go forth and walk in all the precepts that we have been given…. Not looking to the left or right, but looking forward to the redemption that is ours…… just for the asking ……

MID-WEEK Picker Upper 2023.01.10

MID-WEEK Shalom……. Well, we got a pile of snow…… the wind blew so hard, its hard to tell exactly how much we got,
But somewhere between 8” to 12” ……. We are expecting another 4” to 6” by Shabbat ……. Could be a long winter …..

Anyone that has been watching the news know how crazy it is getting out there. With things going sideways, one needs to get
hold of the scripture and bury oneself in it’s words …… we are headed for tough times, yet our Abba has promised us
protection, and a covering ….. Psalm 91 in its entirety will give you comfort ……… Read this with peace in your heart …..

Psa 91:1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide in the shade of the Almighty.
Psa 91:2 I will say to YAHWEH: My Refuge and my Fortress, my Elohim; I will trust in Him.
Psa 91:3 For He delivers you from the fowlers snare, from destruction's plague.
Psa 91:4 With His feathers He will cover you, and under His wings you shall seek refuge; His truth is a shield and buckler.
Psa 91:5 You shall not fear the terror of night, nor of the arrow that flies by day;

Sabbath Blessing 2023.01.06

Shabbat Shalom all. And Sabbath Blessings to all….. HALLELUYAH !!!!! BLESSED BE THE NAME OF YAHWEH …….
This is the day that YAHWEH made, let us rejoice and be glad in it ……

Well it looks like “peace on earth, good will towards men “ has officially come to an end ….. were back to the same old biting and fussing…. I was in Walmart just the other day, stopped and looking for some Lintels on the shelf ……. This woman crash into the back of my cart several time, and said “I need to get through here” …. Now she could have gone around, but wouldn’t ….. so I moved into the other lane, she moved forward and stopped where I had been…… I was puzzled by this and I’m sure I had that same look on my face …… she flipped her nose up at me, an stated to browse through the beans…… picking a bag up and reading the label, over and over again ….. so I just moved on, ….. she did to….. I could have gotten mad, but chose not to…… all the time this verse was going through my head ……. I finished my shopping, and went to the checkout stand …. I pulled in line, and low and behold, this same woman pulled in back of me …… I had far more in my basket than she did, so I told her to go in front of me…… smiled, and backed out and went up the lane …. And the blessing I got from that was that I pulled into a line who had no won in ….. I got through the check out in record time, and proceeded to head outside….. well I saw that this lady was still in the line, and was just starting her check out ….. she looked at me with total surprise….. I smiled at her and gave a little wave…..

It’s to bad people don’t know the truth …… we need to get the word out….. don’t you think ?
So why are we failing on the words of our messiah ?

Mar 16:15 And He said to them, Going into all the world, preach the good news to all the creation.
Mar 16:16 The one believing and being baptized will be saved. And the one not believing will be condemned.
Mar 16:17 And miraculous signs will follow to those believing these things: they will cast out demons in My name; they will speak new languages;
Mar 16:18 they will take up snakes; and if they drink anything deadly, it will in no way hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will be healed.
Mar 16:19 Then indeed, after speaking to them, the Master Yahshua was taken up into Heaven, and sat off the right of YAHWEH.
Mar 16:20 And they went out and preached in all places. And our Master was helping them and establishing their words by the signs that they were doing.

I know that I have talked about this before …… but really, why are we falling short in this arena ?
Let us take time today, and seek wisdom from our Abba….. let HIM instruct us to our short comings …..

Sabbath Blessings 2023.12.30

Shabbat Shalom all ……. Blessings to you on this set apart day …… a day made especially for us …… HALLELUYAH !!!!!
We had a beautiful sunrise this morning …… however the clouds have take over now ……. It’s been a good week here in western Iowa ….
Its been highs in the upper 30’s, and lows in the upper 20’s…… all and all, not bad weather for Dec. Been doing a lot of thinking (selah) …
I mean really pondering on my PICKER-UPPER …… It, if you don’t recall, was about me wondering …. Isa 29:9 …….
In pondering that (selah) YAHWEH opened this scripture up to me …….. spoken to us by our brother Paul

1Co 2:9 But as it has been written, “Eye has not seen, and ear has not heard, nor have entered into the heart of man what Elohim has prepared for those who love Him.

This is a direct quote out of Isaiah 64:4………

Isa 64:4 Since the beginning of the ages they have not heard nor perceived by the ear, nor has the eye seen any Elohim besides You, who acts for those who wait for Him.

So what was Paul talking about …… some futuristic event ….. I don’t think so …… let’s look at verses 6 ,7 & 8 ….

1Co 2:6 Yet we speak wisdom among those who are perfect, and not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age that are being brought to naught.
1Co 2:7 But we speak the wisdom of Elohim, which was hidden in a secret, and which Elohim ordained before the ages for our esteem,
1Co 2:8 which no one of the rulers of this age knew, for if they had known, they would not have impaled the Master of esteem.

He is speaking of current events …… but there is much more …..

1Co 2:10 But Elohim has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all matters, even the depths of Elohim.
1Co 2:11 For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the spirit of the man that is in him? So also, the thoughts of Elohim no one has known, except the Spirit of Elohim.
1Co 2:12 And we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit that is from Elohim, in order to know what Elohim has favorably given us,
1Co 2:13 which we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Set-apart Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual matters with spiritual matters.
1Co 2:14 But the natural man does not receive the matters of the Spirit of Elohim, for they are foolishness to him, and he is unable to know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
1Co 2:15 But he who is spiritual discerns indeed all matters, but he himself is discerned by no one.
1Co 2:16 For “Who has known the mind of יהוה? Who shall instruct Him?” But we have the mind of Messiah.

WOW !!!! how incredible …… you know he is talking about us ……vs 16 states “Who has known the mind of יהוה? Who shall instruct Him?” But we have the mind of Messiah. My friends, don’t you think it is time that we begin to use that mind …… let us heed the teachings from the Ruach ha Kadesh ….. HALLELUYAH !!!!!!

Shalom and blessings to you all…… A gloomy overcast day here in Western Iowa today ….. but actually, its just another winter day ………
So as I sit here in front of my computer, I just wonder what’s this all about…… I don’t remember the song in its entirety, but back
In the 60’s there was a song and part of the chorus, goes like this …… “I wonder, yes I wonder” …….

Isa 29:9 Wait and wonder! Blind yourselves, and be blind! They are drunk, but not with wine! They stagger, but not with liquor!
Isa 29:10 For YAHWEH has poured out on you the spirit of deep sleep, and has closed your eyes. He has covered the prophets and your heads, the seers.
Isa 29:11 And the whole vision to you is like the words of a sealed book which they give to one knowing books, saying, Please read this. Then he says, I am not able, for it is sealed.
Isa 29:12 And the book is given to one who does not know books, saying, Please read this. Then he says, I do not know books.

Isa 29:16 Oh your perversity! Shall the former be counted as the clay? For shall the work of its maker say, He did not make me? Or shall the thing formed say to him who formed it, He does not understand?

After I read this over and over again, “I wondered” …….. why cant people hear….. why do they not choose the way of life ? even when it is right there in front of them …..

Psa 40:8 I delight to do Your will, O My Elohim; and Your Torah is within My inmost soul.

Why is it that so many claim to know you, yet don’t keep your commands. Why do the fight so hard to oppose your precepts ……..
Yes, I wonder…. So I implore you, listen to the words of the prophets, the psalmist, even Yahushua Himself ……

Isa 6:8 And I heard the voice of YAHWEH, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us? Then I said, Here I am. Send me!
Isa 6:9 And He said, Go and say to this people, Hearing you hear, but do not understand; and seeing you see, but do not know.
Isa 6:10 Make the heart of this people fat, and make his ears heavy, and shut his eyes, that he not see with his eyes, and hear with his ears, and understand with his heart, and turn back, and one heals him.

Psa 40:4 Blessed is the man who sets YAHWEH as his trust, and does not turn to the proud, or to those who turn to a lie.

Joh 9:39 And Yahshua said, I came into this world for judgment that the ones not seeing may see, and the ones seeing may become blind.
Joh 9:40 And those of the Pharisees who were with Him heard these things, and said to Him, Are we also blind?
Joh 9:41 Yahshua said to them, If you were only blind you would have no sin, but now you say that, We see. Because of this your sin is unmovable.
