KEY ROLES AVAILABLE
"DAD" - White male, late 50's to 60's, weathered and slightly gruff with a heart of gold. Sagely, blue-collar, sarcastic, with a complicated past who refuses to let the boys at the sober home see any signs of weakness.

"PROFESSOR NANCE" - White male, late 50's to 60's, unconventional, quirky, a devoted educator. Lifelong roots to the region with a rough upbringing. Champions his students and is fiercely proud of where he's from.

"CHERYL" - White female, 20-25 years old, understated hometown beauty. Spirited, intuitive, independent. Complicated homelife growing up, learned self-reliance at a young age. She has big plans ahead that involve leaving town to find her way.

"BUTTERFLY" Mixed ethnicity or white male, 21-25 years old, recent arrival at the sober home, enigmatic, detached, introspective, shaky. Mysterious past and uncertain future. His arrival at the home is disruptive as he battles his addiction.

"DENVER" Mixed ethnicity or white male, 21-25 years old, rowdy and recklessly funny but a sensitive soul underneath it all. Denver is a magnetic troublemaker with a devilsh smirk, though there isn't truly a bad bone in his body. Loyal and grateful for his family at the sober living home. An extraordinary guitarist & singer (applicants must play guitar and sing for this role).

"EMILIO" Mixed ethnicity or white male, 18 years old (to play younger age between 15/16), the little brother of the sober home, idolizes the older boys and follows their leads. Silly, adventurous, and rolls with everything. Full of smiles and fiercely loyal to the first home he has truly felt part of. MUST look true to age.

"FAT ANDY" White male, 18-21 years old, wisecracking, fast-talking, lanky, and perpetually on. Rarely seen without a lit cigarette and an energy drink in hand. His brash antics are off-putting to most, but loved (alright, mostly tolerated) by those within his orbit.

"VIRG" Mixed ethnicity or white male, 18-21 years old, perpetually gross, loud, and lovable. Genuine and innocent in intent, he often ends up in trouble because of his poorly thought-out ideas. The most foolish of all the boys, Virg is often the butt of the joke, but he tries his best to make his life as easy as possible.

"VERONICA" Mixed ethnicity or white female, 18-24 years old. Leader of a four-girl group of friends from the area. The most self-assured and magnetic of the bunch. Wild and slightly mischievous, she takes more risks than the rest of the girls.

"MONTANA" Mixed ethnicity or white female, 18-24 years old. Member of a four-girl group of friends from the area. Slightly lost, rebellious and energetic.

"JESSIE" Mixed ethnicity or white female, 18-24 years old. Member of a four-girl group of friends from the area. Slightly lost, rebellious and energetic.

"BRIANNA" Mixed ethnicity or white female, 18-24 years old. Member of a four-girl group of friends from the area. Slightly lost, rebellious and energetic.
