Before the pandemic, most people from the hours of 9-5 wouldn't be making purchases so it wasn't a great time for brands to run ads. The ideal time would've probably been the evening or on weekends. However, now that the lines between work and personal life have been blurred due to work-from-home, a lot of people seem to be spending more of the time during the workday browsing and making purchases on their work-issued devices. This is just one example of how the pandemic will have lasting effects even after people stop getting sick.

While growth marketing can be powerful when done correctly, it is very difficult in that there are so many puzzle pieces that come into play. Tracking and attribution are essential to growth marketing in that they provide necessary insight into which channels are providing the highest ROI. This information tells the marketer which platforms to focus more on and put more money into. The other part of the article that I thought was interesting is that growth marketers have to be constantly adapting; what works to grow your company one month may be ineffective the next. It takes constant monitoring and flexibility to continuously be successful.
