On September 11, 2001, thousands of lives were lost. Many more were changed forever. Today, we remember those who died, the families who mourn them, the first responders who rushed to help, and those who still live with the effects of that day.
For ASC, that remembrance is also present in the work of our partners. At NYMTC, Ignatius Adanga, Charles Lesperance and See Wong Shum were lost on September 11. Their memory continues through a program that supports the next generation of transportation planners serving this region. And we remember Betty Browne, and the work we did together promoting her facilities management firm which ultimately employed more than 2,000 people.
Every year since, ASC holds moments of silence between 8:46 a.m. and 10:28 a.m. to remember. We remember those we lost, those who survived, and those who keep the memories alive.
