The Irony of Labor Day

Originally, Labor Day was created to protest long work weeks and limit work weeks to 40 hours. Most people today work over 40 hours, 2 jobs or have multiple people contributing to the household to "make ends meet" - what are we really celebrating?

Not everyone gets Labor Day off! Restaurants, retail stores, emergency workers and "essential" service workers are all working on Labor Day. When do they get to celebrate their "labor"?

As we celebrate Labor Day, what are you doing to move toward freedom, are you choosing to work on your side gig because you want to achieve your dreams and get away from the 40-60 hour week at a J-O-B (Just Over Broke)

With a home business, you can work on your own dream which is way better than laboring for peanuts and someone else's profits!

A recent Marketplace Pulse article takes a look at eBay's sales over the past few years. eBay's sales have lost the growth from the pandemic and are now at the same level as in 2019. It's interesting to see this change for eBay.

eBay has lost all sales growth from the pandemic's e-commerce surge and will finish 2022 with GMV at 2019 levels.
