PLEASE REMOVE THESE FROM YOUR CV AND RESUME
To create a cleaner and more professional CV or resume, consider removing the following:
1. High School and Primary School Information: If you have a college degree, this information is unnecessary. Delete it now.
2. Hobbies: Unless directly relevant to the job, there's no need to include or explain hobbies.
3. Inappropriate Email Addresses: Avoid using unprofessional email handles (e.g., Dramaqueen, CaroMsupa, PartyAnimal4Life). Instead, use a professional format like "[YourName]@ [Email Provider]" (e.g., [email protected]).
4. Long Paragraphs: Use bullet points to improve clarity. Recruiters often don't have time to read lengthy text.
5. Irrelevant Work Experience: If it's not relevant to the job you're applying for, delete it now.
6. Irrelevant Skills: Remove any skills that don't align with the position.
7. Personal Information: Marital status, date of birth, and religion should be omitted.
8. ID Number: There's no need to include this on your CV.
MUST INCLUDE:
* Accurate contact information
* Key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure your impact
* Achievements that highlight your success
* A clean, minimal template
* Relevant keywords and phrases
* Your core values and strengths
Always tailor your CV and resume to the job and proofread it carefully.
