National Foster Care Month reminds us why this work matters!

We care about this mission deeply because we believe every child deserves a safe, stable, and faithful loving home. We’re humbled by the agencies, families, and caregivers who step into hard places with courage, compassion, and love.

Here are a few words from our team:
Betsy - "As someone who was adopted and had siblings who were fostered, this work is deeply personal. There is no greater Kingdom mission than supporting the agencies that help children find safety, stability, and forever families. I’m grateful to play even a small part in that work."

Lynn - "I’m so grateful for foster agencies and parents who love kids, families, and foster parents so well. Watching them all in action, 'Let the little children come to me' (Matthew 19:14) really feels alive here and is what making a Kingdom impact is all about."

Christina - "We’re honored to support foster, adoptive, and kinship care organizations that stand in the gap and provide vital tools and resources for families in crisis. Today’s Lead Wichita Prayer Breakfast was a meaningful reminder to continue widening our circle for greater impact.

Our Grove9 team was grateful for the chance to connect with nonprofit partners who care deeply for people and families in our community, including EmberHope and EMPAC. It felt especially meaningful to share that space during and .

We’re thankful for all of the organizations doing the hard, important work of supporting families across our country!

We’re raising awareness on the importance of caring foster homes and strong support systems during National Child Abuse Prevention Month. Prevention starts with awareness, but it becomes a reality with action.

Through partners like Care For Every Family connected by CarePortal, we’ve seen the power of love and community firsthand. A single mother was struggling to provide beds for her children, and a local church and community members stepped in to meet the need. Within days, the family received the beds, along with encouragement and support that reminded them they weren’t alone.

We hear stories like this all the time from our amazing, faith-driven, family-focused client partners. Their dedication inspires us all.
