This is exactly why prep work matters.
Removing old lettering is NOT just peeling the vinyl off and putting the new one on top.
Old adhesive needs to be properly removed and the surface needs to be cleaned and prepared before new vinyl is installed.
Installing over leftover adhesive might get the job “done” faster, but it doesn’t make it a professional job.
Your customer may not know every step that goes into a proper installation — but WE should.
Do it right. Prep the surface. Protect the customer’s investment.
