Make plans to see holiday lights in Newport News and experience something truly unique! NlightN's Celebration of Lights is the original drive-through light show in Virginia. This spectacular two-mile display of lights runs through January 1 at Newport News Park. While you're in town, treat yourself to Lights at the Fountain. City Center at Oyster Point features a free, state-of-the-art holiday light display, playing every half hour on a 50-foot animated tree.

There are two more opportunities to experience the Grand Illumination in Colonial Williamsburg this season. Mark your calendars for 12/14 and 12/21, and enjoy 18th Century illuminations: the lighting of cressets, fireworks, and the firing of guns from 5-7pm. Join a holiday procession starting at the Capitol and ending at the Magazine, where guests can make a wish and add a sprig to the bonfire.
