Vendor Applications: How Our Process Works (Please Read!)
I wanted to create this post to explain how vendor applications work since I get this question quite often. If you're applying to one of our events (or plan to in the future) this should answer most questions!
🔵 How are vendors selected?
Every event is juried, meaning I review every application to create a well-balanced market. I limit how many vendors I accept in each category because I don't want 10+ businesses selling the same thing. My goal is to give every accepted vendor the best opportunity to have a successful day.
🔵 How are applications reviewed?
Applications are reviewed in the order they're received. If you apply later than someone else in your category, that category may already be full by the time I review your application.
🔵 Do previous vendors get priority?
Previous vendors and businesses on our contact list receive an email invitation a few minutes before applications are released to the public. This is one of the benefits of being a previous vendor or joining our contact list and gives them the opportunity to apply before applications open publicly.
🔵 Do you have a waitlist?
Yes! If a vendor cancels or another opportunity opens up, I contact the next vendor on the waitlist to see if they're still available and interested in participating.
🔵 Does submitting an application guarantee acceptance?
No. Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance. If your category is already full by the time I review your application, I won't be able to accept additional vendors in that category.
To guarantee your spot at an event, you must receive an official approval email from me with payment instructions and submit your vendor payment by the stated deadline. Your space is not reserved until both of those steps have been completed.
